The hotel is filled with vintage second-hand furniture that has been patiently collected item by item in Lyon, Paris (at the flea market in Saint-Ouen), Nice and Marseille by Christophe Sauvage and Julie Gauthron, and then often customised and given new colours.

Upon entry, you will be struck by the liveliness of the decor.

Small double room ideally located to explore the city and a few minutes away from the Louvre and Tuileries gardens.

Family photos on the walls, cassettes, books and comics, especially the antique furniture diverted to become works of art from everyday life.

You will enjoy resting in the warm and cosy style of our rooms which have double glazed windows and reversible air conditioning.

An eclectic collection: two Jean Paulin chairs, a beautiful Scandinavian bench, an armchair by Pinch (an English furniture maker), some seventies lamps... and some industrial cabinets!

You may find something from the 1950s...or 1975. The Crayon is joyous patchwork of ideas and styles, and it is this that gives it its unique character. It offers the surprises and variety of bric-a-brac shop combined with the warmth of a family home.
